Men's suit, pants question -- cuffs or no cuffs?

Three button suits aren't new. They were all the rage in the 60's and I agree with Sportschick; that's one great suit but it doesn't look good on everyone. And that ssuit isn'

That's one of the things a great men's wear store can do for you: it's a question of finding the right cut for your body type. I could have worn that suit 20 years ago, but now, not so much.

I did once do a pimps and hos party. The outfit was part thrift store, part friend's closet. Pretty sad, considering he does own some pimp-like clothing and he's about 6-4, 220. The oversized clothes kind of added to the look, though. I have pictures somewhere. Not quite as good as my 70s party outfit, but it did confirm that I wasn't put on earth to try to pull off the pimp look.

I'd just like to say that in typical SportsJournalists.com fashion, a simple question has turned into a four page thread.

    Congrats to all.

And we didn't even make it political, although Fredo needs a new tailor. :)

you would have to contract aids to fit the slender suits they are writing about.

Please. That's not just plain dumb, it's objectionable.

Back to your global warming thread, Boom.

True. A suit like the one pictured is not very versatile. In some business interviews, a flashy, foreign-looking suit would put people off (in fact, most experts would advise against a black suit for work). And I would feel silly wearing one. My black Armani gets little use. It's good for a night on the town, I suppose. I haven't worn it since my wedding.

You know, Frank, I think it depends on where you live and what industry you're in.

That suit would NOT look out of place in any work or social situation where I live. As a matter of fact, it would probably be considered a plus.

If you work in a conservative industry or small town or city, you're probably right.

And I don't think there's anything flashy or even foreign looking about that suit. You just have to have enough confidence to pull the look off.

If you weigh more than 160 lbs that suit won't look right on you.

Fine if you host American Idol or sell $700 sunglasses at Barney's. Otherwise...
