Merry Christmas in jail for Charlie Sheen

Does Sheen have the chops to turn his career around, a la Downey Jr.? Sheen is older during his dissolute period, or at least this dissolute period, than Downey was, but he at least has been able to keep it together to keep working on a weekly sitcom.

 

I think its too late for Sheen to pull a Downey, hes got talent but there's no motivation to go straight with the millions in residual checks coming in from that sitcom for as long as he lives

 

And what's the over/under on that?

 

Bree Olson's work it top-notch. Her performance on the "World's Biggest Whore" competition a few months ago on the Stern show was unreal. Not surprising at all, especially if you follow her on Twitter, that she won. Easy.

 

He doesn't need to turn anything around. He's the country's biggest TV star for essentially playing himself.

Charlie Sheen's favorite porn star says that the Two and a Half Men star was her biggest fan and knew details about her films that she didn't even remember.

Kacey Jordan, who says the porn connoisseur has been after her for a year, told Howard Stern on Wednesday, "I come in and he's like 'Oh My God, Kacey I can't believe it's you. When Charlie rolled out tennis ball-sized cocaine, "I felt like Oh My God, I'm in Scarface."

Jordan, who says Charlie is worth $380 million, was oddly impressed with Sheen's ability to outlast her and everyone else. "Charlie Sheen is the king nobody can outbeat him -- not anyone."

I'm not entirely sure how Sheen has been able to pull off what would kill the careers of so many other actors for the last 25 years, but he's done it.

I'm guessing it's a combination of him being likable and (for the most part) not letting his partying and whoring get in the way of his job. Obviously, it is now, but he's at a level now that CBS is powerless against him. He's the star of the No. 1 comedy in the country, that's already in syndication and making a truckload of money for everybody involved. These days, with all the reality shows out there, that's extremely rare. Hell, the scandal seems to be helping ratings. They said on one of the late night shows that a rerun of that show easily won the night this week.

 

Somewhere, Chris Farley and Corey Haim are shaking their heads in awe.
