Never heard that, but it sounds good. And I think if Cradlerobber follows this, it's still illegal in 43 states.

I thought the same thing, JW. When I saw it, I was like 'she's 40?'

I have no idea why these athletes lock into these women early in their careers and have this end up to them. Just like with MJ. Juanita was a known groupie. It's just sad.

Jordan should be okay. He made a little more money than Strahan and unless he gambled it all away, he has more to give up.

Still, one has to wonder how many women Jordan is paying hush money to based the stories that have already surfaced. Apparently MJ may have cheated on his wife. Can you imagine a pro athlete doing that?

Somewhere, A.C. Green must be smiling.

I don't think even Malcolm would disupte this. ;)

Lovely how somehow this is turning into a "how dare the woman take his money" thread. He signed a pre-nup, and even if he hadn't, well, she deserved half of what he had. Marriage is a partnership 50-50. I'm tired of guys feeling sorry for men when they fuck up and "lose" half of what they have. He didn't have to marry her, he didn't have to have children with her. He chose to do that. He knew what he was getting into.

I don't understand how in the world she is entitled to MORE THAN HALF of the money that HE earned. It truly baffles me.

Hey, it's TOTALLY on him, SC. No disputing that. I don't feel particularly sorry for him. I really don't. I feel much more sorry for MJ, because I question Juanita's motives.

As much as it can be said that it's the guy's fault (and it is), it's still fair to say that a number of these women are gold diggers. Was Strahan's wife? I don't know. She doesn't seem it. But many of these women are. Pointing that out is as fair as saying the guy screwed up. Let's not pretend that the women are often saints here; they're not.

I'm sure MJ will be OK. They've probably been working on a deal for years. If she's smart she'd play him in golf for her settlement.

It's called a prenup. He should have agreed to better terms.
