I wonder what Johnny Manziel thought about it.

Highly doubtful that "the kiss" was as spontaneous as many think.
The event was at the home of Sam publicist Howard Bragman so clearly
they had a plan when they agreed to let the ESPN camera's in. They
keep saying that Sam does not want to be a distraction to his team
but "the kiss"has created a huge distraction for The Rams .

That is the one thing I'm wondering about...Jeff Fisher is a "no bullshit" coach. What limits is he going to set for the media. In Cleveland they just told national media they will not be credentialed for the Browns rookie mini-camp...it will be local media only. The Rams should hold a big press conference, get all the questions answered in one shot, then worry about football. Is that even possible, though?

Well, now that Boom has broken the seal on the subject, the network does have a responsibility to see the difference between a staged event and a spontaneous one. Talk and ratings shouldn't compromise that burden.

Pretty sure Sam's news conference today(?) is the only time he will be available to speak about it until he makes the team. And what evidence is there that it was not a spontaneous kiss? He was clearly overcome with emotion, and it was a celebratory moment. I find it highly unlikely that Sam planned this for publicity. Just because there was a camera there doesn't tell me anything. ESPN puts cameras in a lot of places when guys don't attend the draft.

Seventh rounders? I am not under the impression that the cameras were there because Sam getting drafted was quite newsworthy...the cameras should have been there. At the same time it didn't appear very spontaneous to me. Not that it matters.

Good thing he didn't wish Ben bad things for his children, huh, TSP? You might have burned him at the fucking stake.

Here read this story about Sam publicist and his plan to control the narrative. This is a guy who
specializes in bring high profile people out. Tell then if you still think the event
    was spontaneous.

I don't think this story says what you think it does or what you want it to. The fact that he has helped other high-profile clients come out doesn't tell me anything about the motives. I know there are a lot of people who think he did this for the money or the publicity. I am not one of them.
