Michael Vick thread -- Decision Day?

Yeah, well, I see a fair number of the "youth of America" running around in Vick jerseys, signifying a) they need to have the shit slapped out of them, and b), their parents REALLY need to have the shit slapped out of them.

Its a terrible idea, IMO.

Just as bad as when they have ex-con athletes talk to kids as their community service.

Just have these guys pick up trash as their community service.

Basing my point on my 12-year-old nephew and his friends who have no interest in the NFL or Madden '08 for that matter.
Sure, they know who Vick is, but as my nephew said to me the other night "so what was this jerk doing to these dogs?"

Michael Vick has accepted a plea deal – and a likely prison sentence – to avoid additional federal charges related to a professional dogfighting operation, according to one of his attorneys.
