Tyler, I have immediate family in that area. No offense but I'm going to go with what they're telling me is happening in Newport News before I go with a Newport News Daily News poll.

stoob is the one person here that makes this site a joke.

Webby talks a good game about wanting to clean up the site and make it one to be proud of, but then does nothing when the biggest attention whore creates havoc and chases the good posters away.

This site will never be taken seriously in the industry with posters like stoob around.

So, there's a lot of support for Vick in Newport News, people rushing to defend him? Or do they not love dogs there? How is tyler wrong?

 

Apparently so, at least according to stoob's immediate family in the area...

 

I don't know if they love dogs or not. Peta is located only a few miles away, but that's another issue.
There are those who feel that Vick is being set up because of who he is.

I don't think anyone was trying to blame the parents alone. But we're all products of the way we're raised, and what constitutes "right" and "wrong" is pretty much up for grabs. For example, what if Michael Vick's father raised fighting dogs? Wouldn't that be a powerful influence in the household as to what's right and what's wrong?

Plenty of people in this country hunt, and proudly teach their children to do so as well. Plenty of others think that hunting's nothing but cruelty. Who's right in that instance, and who's wrong?

Though to be fair, shower shoes isn't the only one whose whole modus operandi is to spout off.

 

I'm not saying that an online poll is the height of accuracy, but I haven't heard a lot of people rushing to defend Vick. Even LeBetard was saying this was a big problem and he's the biggest jock-sniffer there is.
