Not bad for a Gannett property in New Jersey.

Asbury Park Press: 11,513, down 89.3% since 2007
Burlington County Times: 1,966, down 88.9% since 2016
    Courier News: 1,337, down 95.9% since 2007
    Courier-Post 3,234, down 95.3% since 2007
    Daily Journal: 1,113, down 90.8% since 2016
    Daily Record: 1,435, down 96.3% since 2007
Home News Tribune: 2,144, down 95.6% since 2010

Do the newspapers with circulations of a couple thousand have editorial staffs or do they just use material from the larger Gannett properties and USA Today?

A quarter-century ago I was working at my first paper. The Podunk County Times had just added a third edition each week. We had competition in our working-class county of 30,000, both from a weekly on the state line and a small-city paper half an hour up the road that regularly covered news and sports in our county. And even with all that I guaran-damn-tee you we sold more than 1500 papers. My God what this business was and never will be again.
