How do we know what the context is of these supposed names that "someone" posted on the comments section of a Web site? Maybe the report says at times "And the Mitchell commission happens to think Albert Pujols is a hell of a baseball player, clean as a whistle."

Also . . . let's not get worked up in a lather about a list "someone" posted on the Web, especially since ESPN and other major outlets aren' running with a list yet. In fact, I . .um . . . I saw a list that said "Every member of the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres, Mike Piazza, Alex Rdriguez (listed only as "A-Rod" on the report), JD Drew, and "every single major name on Scott Boras' client list."

Or we can wait two hours before really getting down to names. Other than Clemens.

Waiting two hours = not exactly SportsJournalists.com's strong suit. Just sayin'.

That's right, we can deduce nothing until ESPN learns it.

    Carry on.

Darryl Kile's presence is fairly heart-breaking.

And, Sports Predictor - If we aspire to be more than just entertainment reporters, which I think most of us, as an industry, do, you bet your ass it matters.

One thing I did notice. Other than Bret Boone, who they clearly employed after he was off the stuff, no Twins on that list.

Given the list, did steroids actually do anything besides get hurt players healthier?

It's a discussion board, dude. I don't know that anyone here is "running" with anything.

In the words of Ed Harris and Alan Arkin in Glengarry Glen Ross: "We're not discussing it, we're just speaking about it."

Let Clemens pitch until he was 60?

Is Clemens going to receive the same heat that Bonds has faced?

Depends on if he left the same kind of paper trail.
