    I can't find the quote right now, but Ed Wade said something along the lines of he didn't care about the Mitchell Report yesterday.

    Only confirming the surface-deep impact of this whole charade.

    Actually, I think that's indictment of just how little the report meant, not that the Astros are idiots.

    It sounds like, from jcmacg's summation, that no punishment will be handed down. If it is, it'll be 15 games.

    Why would the Astros regret their decision based on that? They should regret it on the fact that Tejada sucks.

    Umm check out p. 113-138. Bonds is there along with Marvin Bernard, Benito Santiago, Bobby Estella, both Giambi's and Sheffield.

    Pretty much back where we always have been--even though there were plenty of people who didn't want to acknowledge the ridiculously obvious for the longest time. The only positive thing is that people who were in denial or going on and on about witch hunts, have mostly shut up and seem to accept that it is part of the culture of the sport and it has been fairly rampant. They won't be able to catch the cheaters, the league and the union don't work well together and likely won't even do the minimal things they can do (they will always be behind), and things aren't likely to change much. But at least people aren't pretending that the emperor is wearing clothing. That's about all you could have really expected. It's something, as far as I am concerned. Now people can decide how big a deal they think it is with the knowledge that it s fairly rampant. Some people will think "no big deal," and others will see an integrity issue. That is all this has ever been about.

    I just reviewed this whole 409 page report, it is a joke.

    The names included come from Radomski, Mcnamee, Grimsley, and a few others but the information was already reported in the media/books.

    This whole thing is pretty pathetic for $26+ million, 20 months, and plenty of lawyers.

HE'S INJECTED HIM RIGHT IN THE ASS! AND CLEMENS SAYS HIS PERFORMANCE IS ABOUT TO IMPROVE DRAMATICALLY! OH MY GOD, OF ALL THE AMAZING THINGS I'VE SEEN, CLEMENS HAIRY ASS HAS GOT TO BE AT THE TOP OF THE LIST!
