The worst part of all this is that John Rocker now has an excuse for being an unbearable dickhead.

Especially since Mitchell said he gave the report to the Commissioners's office for review three days ago.

Typical Selig refused to accept his fair share of blame.

There are articles starting in 1988 about Jose Canseco and the increasing body size of players.

While Selig was patting himself on the back, Rep. Stearns was kicking his butt ...

Sorry to interrupt the always-popular Seligbash,(and he doesn't help his cause by appearing so clownish) but what SPECIFICALLY should Bud have done about this, and when?

    Specifically.

And now Kruk is typically asking "why mention the retired guys?" ... one of whom happens to be his old buddy Dykstra ...

Kruk is a fat joke, an embarrassing 'athlete'.

ESPN should be so proud of their Fernando Vina made the list.

Re: Running Mitchell Report Thread (Selig: I plan to read it over X-mas break!)

how about displaying some of the accountability he keeps asking others to display?

"You know what, I accepted a short-term fix after the players strike. I oversaw an era in which players rampantly abused performance enhancing drugs. I knew all about it. I am as accountable for this era as anyone else. I am sorry for what transpired."

instead, we get a bunch of twirling, twirling, twirling.

    A fraud.

So apparently this report still only skimmed the surface. There are a lot of guys breathing huge sighs of relief that they weren't caught. Others are pissed at the hearsay and what-not. And Bud Selig is still a clown. So not much REALLY changed, except that some players that just reeked of suspicion, ie; Clemens, Pettitte, Bonds, FP Santangelo, Marvin Benard, and Benito Santiago (I kid on some, obviously) now have more incrimination.
