They're trying to make the MLB draft more popular, but it won't ever happen.

You don't have the immediacy of results that the NFL and NBA drafts offer. The Aiken kid, the earliest we have any chance of really seeing him will be late 2016, and that's if he makes a meteoric rise through the system.

Not true. I often find you disappointing.

 

The rookie salary cap has guaranteed that many of the kids taken in the first round of the NHL Draft will be playing in the league in the fall.

 

The MLB draft is vastly more popular than it was 10 or 20 years ago and gets more popular every year.

 

We'll, you gotta admit ... When you start at zero, it doesn't take all that much to hit "vastly more"

 

That's true. One friend would increase oop's social circle infinitely.
