Losing OUGHT to take less time. You're doing less.

3 and outs should speed up the game

A good way to shorten your home games is to not have to bat in the bottom of the ninth. So he may be half right.

But by that standard, you're going to finish 81-81 because losing road games is shorter, too.

Driven by growing RSN deals, average club value has increased by nine pct. in the last year, according to Forbes.

I always love the bottom end of that survey, which this year says the poor poor A's made $27 million in profit, the Rays made $15 million and the Marlins and Royals were well into seven figures.

And they could spend every penny and still not come close to the big markets in payroll.

The A's got to Game 5 against the Tigers the last two years. Maybe if they put $15 million more into payroll and took "only" $12 million as profit, they go farther.

Or if the Tigers didn't have a financial advantage of on them, maybe they go farther.

You can say that three times!

All right, we're at an impasse. Nothing more to add except I vote 3OF stays.

No impasse. I'm right and you are too stubborn to even try to understand it.

Your initial point supports what I've been saying all along. Baseball needs a salary floor even more than it needs a cap.

Clayton Kershaw will miss his Opening Day start due to "back inflammation." I wonder if a 16-hour flight to back from Australia had anything to do with it:
