O's catcher Caleb Joseph just clubbed a HR in 4th straight game, tying Gus Triandos and Ramon Hernandez for most consecutive games with HR for a Baltimore catcher.

Headley, Ryan, Drew and Prado. The Yankees starting infield in a 1-0 win against Detroit. Who are those guys?

Guys who helped 'em take 3 of 4 against the last 3 CYAs and a pretty good pitcher named Porcello.

    Should've swept.

Once football starts, no one in Houston cares about the Astros, even when they are good, let alone when they stink.

Not who anyone thought would be their IF at the start of the season. But who thought the four guys who pitched this series would shut down, or at least contain, the Tigers 4 straight games.

Gordon Wittenmeyer reports that Hamels to Cubs unlikely to happen because they can't trade guys on the 40-man roster (i.e., Castro or Baez) without putting them thru waivers as well. Therefore, the Cubs would probably have to give up Addison Russell, which they wouldn't want to do.

Which was completely predictable, but baseball fans get bored this time of year.
