And Bob McKenzie's kid should stick to hockey.

Saw on Twitter that Melky Cabrera was the first player since Rod Carew in 1972 to reach base eight times (three hits, five walks) in a game. Cabrera is the seventh player to do it in MLB history.

The O's fans have a saying- it's not luck, it's Buck.
I am beginning to believe that is the truth.
They're just doing things good teams do.

Orioles have the best run differential in the division. The team lucky to be in it is the Yankees.

    The Yankees are garbage.
But how they took three of four from the Tigers with three jokers in their infield said more about Detroit's problems.
I think it should be acknowledged that Girardi is a good manager for having these shit teams in a pennant race two years in a row.

Another quiet plus for the O's: Their middle/setup relief has been outstanding. A lot of guys you don't hear a lot about, and they've been close to lights-out.

    First 8 batters: 5 hits, 2 walks.

    Verlander at Pittsburgh.

    5-1 and still batting.

One day after a 19-inning game, Verlander has to be pulled after a single inning. Pirates up 8-1 and the Tigers fanbase, their shit long since lost after playing six one-run games on this road trip and winning only two, are probably going roughly feral right now.

Yanks scored 2 runs on a Bad News O's play.

Machado just broke his bat, and knee.
