    I think they hire the grounds crew the way a ski hill hires snow shovelers.

    I'm about half way between the two, and it rained like a bitch here. Rained hard earlier in the day for a spell too.

    That said, they fucked up.

    If they're claiming the roller for the tarp counts as a mechanical malfunction, I guess I can kind of see it.

    It appears they're saying the tarp wasn't rolled properly the last time it was used. And, at least from what I'm seeing and hearing out here, the Cubs joined on the Giants' side in the protest.
