So noted. I don't give enough of a shit about the Gnats or Paul White of USA Today to defend the stat.
Clippard is a good reliever. Bet the Yankees wish they kept him.

It was horrible, but Calcaterra is no good writer himself.

The totality of the value of your thoughts on any given subject, yes.
    Other than Little League baseball.

    OK, then we'll expound.

As soon as you find yourself in an indefensible position, you suddenly don't care about the subject. It's your MO.

That's weak. And it isn't because of some persona you think you've created; it's your own personal issue.

It just happened that more people called you out on this one.

I heard a stat on MLB on XM and relayed it to the group.
I like to fight but I am going to pick my battles.
No need for me to dig in on Tyler Clippard.

Wrong again, fart boy. I don't think baseball's drug problem is gone. My point is what it has always been. People are far too lazy and careless when it comes to making accusations of PED use. Around here, you just happen to be a particularly shining example of careless and lazy posting.

You've made yourself pretty clear on that, thanks.
And this isn't a courtroom, it's a board for leisure and amusement.
There is no harm in "guessing" who the witches are.

I have made myself very clear, yet you and others continue to distort and misrepresent my point. just as you did in the post I was responding to, so don't go whining about it when I correct you.

Though many have left the business, there are still sports journalists on this board. There are even a few with Hall of Fame votes, some of whom are willing to allow rumors and guesswork to keep them from voting for certain players. The same is true for many voters who are not a part of this board. If you don't think the guesswork (I don't just mean what goes on here, but in discussions everywhere) plays a part in Hall of Fame voting, you are kidding yourself.

Getting it right should matter to anybody who has worked in journalism. It amazes me that some of you don't understand that concept.
