He has been the left-handed version of what Marco Scutaro did in 2012. Same flat swing, even.

Why did they take out Sanchez in the first place?

That was my question as well. I would have had him try to go at least one more inning and, if he breezed through it, maybe go out for the 9th as well.

Ah, postseason game times -- this one just passed the two-hour mark and it's 2-0 after five innings.

SUPPOSEDLY the training staff has him on a pitch limit of 30.

And Bochy brings in, with the bases loaded and a 2-0 lead, a rookie reliever with nine career major league appearances. And he blows Desmond away. Manager button-pushing at its best.

If the Giants get rolling this month, Hunter Strickland could have a K-Rod kind of postseason. Future closer who regularly hits 100.

    Harper laughs.

    That's foolish.

Yeah I was just going to post, "Or maybe not." :)

That was impressive. Still OK with the trade-off of bases loaded K for solo HR though.

Benches empty in LA ... and it's early!

You're allowed to change pitchers, Don. No matter. Cards will again represent NL in World Series.
