I wonder if Grady Little is watching this game.

Well, Kershaw chased and he can't get the win.

I can't say on Gordon, that was going to be a tough play even if he did flag the ball down, but Ramirez probably should have had that line drive.

I feel bad for Kershaw. He pays the price for the team's inability to find a fourth starter or any kind of middle relief at all.

    That was a strike?

Rosenthal's real tough when he gets the 2-0 strike just above the shins. Tough enough as it is.

Love to see Crawford go deep, doubt it though.

The Dodgers' only hope is for the Pirates and Brewers to get better, because they could play the Cardinals in the playoffs every year for the next decade and they'd never win once.

Adams should give Rosenthal a little pat on the head like Benny Hill used to.

Cards in 1-6 v. Kershaw in series: 3-38, 2 ribs.

Cards in 7th v. Kershaw in series: 9-10, 9 ribs.

You can't take Kershaw out with a one hitter going through six. Both those first two hits in the 7th could have and I think should have been caught. Then it's 2 outs, nobody on.

Then do you take him out pitching to Adams who if I heard right is awful against leffties?

Sometimes (actually almost all the time) it's better to be lucky than good. And for the Cardinals, fate and luck says move on. And we as Cardinal fans will take it.
