I have said this many times over the years, but if it's an all-time game, give me the 1960s National League outfield of Mays, Aaron and Clemente and you can have the next three picks.

Second on Doc Gooden. 1985 Doc was unreal. Before the white horse trampled him.
Griffey junior from 1994-1995 makes my list too.
Third is Bonds before the Balco days. Crazy talent, giant asshole.

1985 Doc, you were lucky if your team made good contact four or five times a game.
    He was untouchable.

1999/2000 Pedro. He'd put up a sub-1.50 ERA these days, easily.

Beat me to it. Give me prime Pedro for any one game.

Not enough is made of what Pedro did in the late 90's early 2000's.

Not sure this has been mentioned here, but the D'backs have hired A's bench coach (and former Arizona minor-league manager) Chip Hale as manager:

Not sure if anyone commented on it, but the Yankees (finally) fired hitting coach Kevin Long last week. I have been calling for them to replace him for years. The Red Sox are reportedly interested in him, I hope they hire him ;D

The Girardi-era Yankees would have won a 2nd World Series if they had a competent hitting coach.

Apparently, the inability to identify a scapegoat when you see one is among your many flaws.

The last time the Yankees ranked this low in the AL in hitting was 1990. Yes, they have an old team but there is talent and it has underachieved the last 5 years.
