    This is what I love about baseball in the current playoff format.

    Take a mediocre team and take your shot. Overperform a little in the regular season, sneak in, get hot.

    I get the 7/8/9 relief model which the Royals performed to a T; however, that does not translate perfectly in the reg season because you'd run your relievers ragged with your starters going 5-6 every game.

    Congrats to the Royals; they overperformed in the playoffs so far and earned it.

    However, I hope to see you fans here in the most beautiful ballpark in the US next week.
