Just stop. You had some valid points at the time when the arbitrator ruled as he did, but we know now that Braun was lying his ass off and has earned his scorn.

This ain't debate class. You don't win points for winning parliamentary procedure at a given point of the back-and-forth. When you continue to argue a point long after its validity has been compromised by subsequent facts you just look like a pedantic ass.

As far as Braun is concerned? I deplore what he did, but I'm also not so high-and-mighty that I don't want him to help the team I follow. As as Old Tony pointed out with his Peralta comparison, that's how fans of just about any team feel.

Besides, he's not on the juice anymore anyway. If he was, he would've taken Segura's head off.

See, that's the part you and so many others don't get. I never claimed he was innocent. It's on you that you don't get that, not me. I never really cared if he was innocent or not. The fact that he was later proven guilty is completely irrelevant to what I said all along.

So no, I'm not going to stop supporting arguments that are every bit as valid as the moment I made them. Too many people on and off this site do jump to convict baseball players of PED use without real evidence. Braun was just an extreme case that fit the overall point. A_QB being the biggest joke in that regard given that he has repeatedly claimed that every good player in MLB cheats.

Also, the Braun case was another example of a leak of information MLB is supposed to be protecting. Regardless of Braun's behavior, MLB was out of line. It has failed to keep its promise to the players in many cases. Firing the arbitrator for correctly ruling in Braun's favor was also inappropriate. That's the bit y'all keep missing. BOTH sides were wrong. Nothing that came out about Braun later exonerates MLB from its issues.

Edit Please note, I'm not the one who keeps dredging this up. I have no problem going there, but if you want it to go away, take it up with the folks who keep raising the topic.
