I guess we should take away that World Championship trophy that NDJ awarded to the Marlins in April.

Yankees look like the team with shit bullpen tonight. Claiborne looked like he was going to cry.

Daniel Descalso in to pitch for the Cardinals with two outs in the ninth with the Cubs leading 17-5.

No, here is where the experience picked up during their last two World Series title runs will come into play

Laugh all you want, but the Marlins have a pitcher in their system named Andrew Heaney who is just as good. If they call him up, they'll be fine.

    Here's Fart's question.
HGH is supposed to help aid recovery from injury, yes?
If that will bring Harvey and Fernandez back more quickly, why is that a bad thing?

It's not. The same people who rail against PED's have no problem with cortizone shots which are far worse than HGH.

3 Octave has put his finger on the crux of the PED issue. What is a PED and what is, you know, a medicine? The line gets blurrier with every advance in medical science.

Along those lines, I've always been skeptical of what (and how much) they injected into Kirk Gibson prior to and during Game 1 of the 1988 World Series.

Am I right in thinking there's been something of an uptick in position players pitching of late, or is that just a statistical blip?

I don't condone drug abuse, but you may logically consider a good many things in baseball "performance-enhancing" - including Tommy John surgery.
