I am OK with the DH going away, because most people don't watch a game this way, but I just really really love playing armchair manager to see how the guys are going to handle their roster. This could be partially or largely because I remember Bruce Bochy taking Dusty Baker to the woodshed three games in a row in the 2012 playoffs.

I was too busy picking him up for my fantasy team.

The DH rule is not going away. Quit wasting everybody's time by talking about it.

Ah shit, I wrote that wrong. I meant I am OK with the pitcher batting going away (or the "no DH" going away).

I do still like the NL more for that reason, though.

Where does Werth rank in terms of guys who were given the checkbook only to underwhelm on what I consider a big scale? He's getting $20 million this season.

Denard Span is having the game of his life, 4 hits, and the Nats chased Cueto and are crushing the Reds 9-1.

    The 7-run 6th continues ...

Tyler Moore having a great game with the glove. Scrappy.

I think Tyler Moore is considerably underrated.

Dodgers minor leaguers go Tyson-Holyfield! Alex Guerrero is having surgery after Miguel Olivo bit his ear. Salt Lake police are investigating, but Guerrero hasn't decided whether he wants to talk to police. All on Jon Morosi's timeline:
