Think he burned one with Jones after the game?

Ortiz is one of the biggest hypocritical pieces of crap in the game.
But since he's a national media and ESPN darling his antics get a pass.
Remember his failed drug test? Nor do they.

Remember the Mitchell Report. No Red Sox (aside from a couple washed up relievers) were PED users, not even Manny.

Hudson has become what they hoped Zito would be though that contract. And while any Sabean-Bochy team will be built around pitching, the difference for the Giants this year has been a more potent offense. Will be interesting to see how it plays out when Cain comes off the DL (and he's up to speed), as well as Belt.

And really, there were no biases involved there at all. Honest.

Well when it began I remember hearing a lot about what a great guy they picked to begin cleaning up the game.

    Typical Boston cant.
George Mitchell is an avowed Red Sox fan from New England.
He looked for everybody else's players in his investigation.
Ortiz is a hypocritical piece of crap.

The Mitchell report was basically based on only two sources; Radamoff(?) and the other trainer; Clemens' guy; they had nothing else, no subpoena power, no deposition power. Talk about a neutered investigation. I'd never be able to prove anything without subpoena power.

Kirk Radomski. Brian McNamee was Clemens' guy.

The Mitchell Report was worth it, if for no other reason than Paul Lo Duca being dumb enough to write a thank you note to a steroids dealer on a Dodger Stadium stationery.

It was the players paying by personal check I liked. Not many drug deals feature those.

Astros sign first base prospect Jon Singleton to a five-year deal worth at least $10 million and as much as $35 million. He will be called up and take over first base for the major league club Tuesday.

More evidence that both sides should want to address the Super 2 deadline. This deal and call-up makes it pretty damn clear the only reason the kid was money, just like the Polanco situation with the Pirates.

It looks like both sides DID address the Super 2 deadline.
