#34 needs to assigned to the 40th man on the 40 man roster, for eternity

He’ll get booed without mercy in Philly if he doesn’t play up to that contract. Those fans are brutal.

He turned down 300/10 for 330/13? That’s mercenary even for Boras. He just wanted to beat Stanton. And it will get blown away when trout signs

The reporting on the Bryce Harper stuff is why I tend to not take a lot of "insider stuff" very seriously. Sure 330 million can help anyone get over someone's problem with a manager's "quirky" personality - but you also don't want the first question at your presser to be a potential personality conflict with a manager.

13 years? He’ll be, what, 39 or 40 when that contract is up, right? Guess the Phils are figuring on 6-8 years of him as a DH?

And he’s leaving the Walgreens. Beer Bong Brett is 13 sheets to the wind by now.

Best comment I’ve seen so far:

“There are children in Philadelphia who aren't even born yet who will throw batteries at Bryce Harper before the end of this contract.”

I eagerly await the first time him and Gabe get face to face.
