Only mistake Jeter made was not defending the Marlins off-season teardown by pointing to the Cubs and Astros success doing the same thing.

Also, the umpire ruled Benitendi out of the baseline at first base after initially calling him safe on a slow roller.

 

Sheesh ... either way ... trade him or don’t trade him ... and they’re post-time favorites in the “lost the off-season” race.
