Not trying to sound like a B Beane apologist, but when the Yanks got Gray I told a few Yankee fans Beane knows Manaea is better but got Cashman to
think Gray was Oakland's No. 1 and would thrive as a No. 3 in NY. Also thought Graveman was as good as Gray, but may be wrong about that.

Gray had more service time and is making $6M this year while Manaea is making $550K. That’s the only thing the A’s care about. They don’t give a shit which one is better.

That's supposed to be all blue font, right? Yeah perfect games are a rarity, but usually there's some luck involved. Some of the most dominating pitching performances
ever are not even no-hitters. As far as making hitters look completely overmatched I'll go with Kerry Wood's 20 strikeout game against the Astros. Houston managed a
hit, but Wood made them look foolish. Pretty much every batter looked like a Little League kid batting against a Danny Almonte. Boston has one of the best lineups in
the league. Manaea wasn't as overpowering as Wood, but he pretty much toyed with the Red Sox.
