Both Giants and A's are currently at home. I'm sure they'll blame interleague play, but it can't be that difficult to schedule around.

It’s impossible to put together a schedule that continuously splits the sites for the Yankees and Mets, Giants and A’s, Cubs and White Sox, and Dodgers and Angels all at the same time for six months. It can’t be done.

My question was mostly rhetorical. It seems odd they would have both NY teams home so early where having one game postponed likely means losing both.

And there does seem to be more overlap with more teams and interleague play. It used to be that the Dodgers and Angels would maybe both be home on a Thursday as one ended a series and another started one. Now they are likely to overlap entire series.

Dozier is the ultimate slow-moving target.

... and one out later, Ohtani belts a two-run homer to left-center, also off Kluber, who is a pretty good pitcher.

Looking forward to hearing from the Unwritten Rules guys on the bunt to break up a no hitter.

The unwritten rules seem to say that bunting in the fifth is OK. It's bunting in the 7th through 9th that disrespects the game. Have you ever noticed that baseball players are not who you want as a quiz show partner?
