DiComo may never have seen that before ina professional game because he’s a tweeting troll. Last happened, according to ESPN,on July 4, 2016. Milwaukee did it against the Nationals.
2016 is before the strikeout era?

I always enjoy when teams playing each other make a trade. It looks so impulsive, even if it wasn't.

"You're here. We're here. Don't need to pay for plane tickets. Sure, why not?"

When I was a kid, and a total nut about baseball history, I read about this Cubs-Cardinals trade between games of a doubleheader, and both guys played for both teams on the same day.

The Cardinals and Cubs once swapped outfielders in the middle of a doubleheader

Some odd scheduling in the NL West. LA and Arizona are playing for the 12th time this season tonight then they won’t see each other again until Labor Day weekend. Dodgers have also played the Giants 1o times.

They have played 60 percent of their games against those two and haven’t played division mate Colorado yet.

And besides the Mexico trip, they haven’t been farther west than Arizona. It makes me concerned that this crappy season will get worse.

I've been in that outfield bar at Coors several times. It is a long, long ways to home plate.
