    I want to like Rodriguez, I think he truly loves the game, wants to be good at his new job and doesn't want to be an asshole.
    But everything out of his mouth sounds so rehearsed. He has a hyper self-awareness that follows him everywhere he goes.

    I interviewed him his first week in the bigs when he was 18. I remember thinking he was uncomfortably overly aware of his situation (highly touted phenom) but put it down to him being a kid in his first week in the show. But he's never changed. He probably can't brush teeth spontaneously.
