What I really like is how Arenado tries to muddy the waters when he gets into whose advice he took when making the decision not to get vaccinated. He tosses a mention of his doctors in there, making it plural to avoid putting it on any one physician who a reporter might question. Then he tosses in a bit about "people I'm close to," which is probably closer to the truth. He took the advice of idiots, or he just decided on his own and wants to make it look like he actually put some real thought into the matter.

So he says it's a matter of personal choice, he chose to get it and now wishes he hadn't? Smfh.

All of a sudden the Dodgers are a game and a half behind the Yanks for best record.

That’s what happens when you go 18-2 since June 29 while the Yankees went -12-11

If the Cardinals — the poverty-crying, yearly competitive balance pick recipient Cardinals — trade for Soto, I’m done with baseball. I have other sports to occupy my time.

I rarely think of baseball wives, but this is a good example of sportsmanship:

    • And finally, while the Giants-Dodgers rivalry remains among the most intense in the game, it does not preclude former teammates — and their wives — from remaining close.

On Friday, two Dodgers wives, Ellen Kershaw and Nicole Barnes, helped host a baby shower in Los Angeles for two Giants wives whose husbands used to play for the Dodgers, Suzanna Wood and Kelsey Pederson.

Suzanna and Alex Wood are expecting their first child in September. Kelsey and Joc Pederson are expecting their third in October.
Good stuff Mrs. Kershaw and Barnes.

Cardinals and Nats are exchanging names. Looks like I’m about to no longer give a fuck about baseball. Maybe MLB can throw the Cards another couple competitive balance picks.
