    My first inclination is to think, "No team has been so great and had such a terrible stretch." But then I think of the Dodgers of only five years ago. I think they went something like 56-11 and then lost 14 of 15.

    Orioles beat Red Sox and Buster Olney has to be there to watch it. Almost as satisfying as Trumpists on Fox News discussing the election results in 2020.

    It's my belief that Brian Cashman might have the toughest job in all of pro sports. Whether the Yankees are horseshit (which they rarely are) or defending World Series champions, he has to say they will be a World Series contender, if not favorite, every season. This as the most successful and scrutinized franchise in North American history. He has been an amazing spin doctor for 25 years through every kind of regime and probably has it down to an exact science.
