That had to hurt - kind of sums up being a Nats fan these days

I'm not someone who complains a lot about baseball, because I fucking love MLB. But, Jesus Christ, baseball knows how to suck the fun out of its own game. Most baseball fans will never forget the end of the 2011 season. Do or die, win and in. It doesn't get any better than that.

But everything in baseball is about looking at the stat sheet these days, so I guess it's no surprise the playoffs would be decided that way, too.

They didn't let one of the greatest pitchers ever try to complete a perfect game (or normal no-hitter).

Kershaw is a sweet guy and would never say anything negative about the decision.

But let's not pretend he ain't fucking pissed.

Pretty trippy that the Dodgers have Freddie Freeman.

    And you're to blame
    You give pickoffs
    A bad name.

    I led off the base
    Now I feel the pain
    You give pickoffs
    A bad name.

I was thinking more along the lines of "ring my bell," but that works nicely.

I was going with 2 balls, 1 strike.

How did the Nats let it get to this?

Any other T-Mobile customers here? They offered free MLB TV for the season and I've made up my mind I'm watching every damned game I can to get maximum value.

Yup. Had it two years in a row. Love it. Most beautiful part is my mobile hotspot thinks I live in Michigan or Chicago or Colorado at different times, so it doesn't black out Guardians games. Weird thing, though, on my work computer it knows where I am so it only gives me the audio of Guardians games, but my cell phone on wireless lets me watch them even though it should certainly know I'm connecting to cell phone towers in the Cleveland area.
