MLB.TV’s Big Inning stopped DURING the bottom of the 11th inning of the Brewers’ game IMMEDIATELY following a play at the plate.

Imagine if Red Zone ended during an overtime game.

Baseball can’t get out of its own way.

Miami wins 4-3. Looks like Philly is going to the postseason in spite of themselves.

I think Red Zone did end in an OT game two weeks ago. They could not show the OT of the Cardinals-Raiders game for some contractual reason.

Red Zone has a hard out at 8 p.m. EST because of the NBC contract. Scott Hanson always mentions it when they're running up against it in the last 30 minutes of the show, presumably so people won't freak out when they cut the feed.

Tonight, Red Zone cut away early when the Packers-Patriots game was still in overtime. They said they had to sign off (or go to the touchdown montage) once Broncos-Raiders went final. They were directing people to flip over to CBS for the end of Pats-Packers.

Every week when there is only one game still being played during the 4 p.m. window, Red Zone has to shut off so viewers will change over to whichever broadcast partner is airing that game.

No one cares about my fantasy team or my season-long bets, yet here we are ...

We missed on Boston, Oakland, Baltimore, and the Mets.

The last undecided is the Padres - we need them to just not sweep the Giants, and we hit on six of 10 for the year, for a nice tidy $43 in profit.

The last month has been basically us just cheering for Twins and Padres losses.

Padres are in the playoffs. No Tatis though.
