With all the new rules can we make one that says people sitting behind the plate can’t act like twerps?

Waving at someone you're talking to on a cell phone is grounds for immediate ejection.

Turner clearly safe, but the Dodgers may have to worry if he hurt his throwing hand badly.

Don’t really understand why the Dodgers aren’t sending Turner.

Wasn’t it, though? His SB% is 90 this season and 85 for his career. The spreadsheet says that’s worth the risk, doesn’t it?

They should have sent him when Smith went 3-2 with one out. They definitely should have sent him when Muncy came up, and they were derelict for not sending him once Muncy had two strikes against him.

It probably wouldn’t have mattered, but the worst-case scenario was that you bring Muncy, your No. 5 hitter, back up with a clean count, rather than getting deeper into the lineup to start the ninth.

Of all people, Dave fucking Roberts didn’t send the runner.

Because I keep seeing it come up in Padres fanboi Twitter: Do postseason games count against Tatis' suspension?

Yanks won 99 regular season games and A-Rod has to have covered some of 'em. Did he say anything about it this summer? Or is this the worst kind of second-guessing bullshit after one, count 'em, one loss? IMO Judge's problem is one I've seen before. If a player chases a historic record for a long time and then achieves it, the feat can leave him drained, somewhat physically and a whole lot mentaly.

For some reason yes. The longer they go in the postseason, the sooner he can return next season.
