No doubt but what a complete zero today.

Yeah, was half-watching and just looked at the box. Three Ks too.

Braves do what they do, three homers. But nobody on base.

Not a news flash, but that young core locked up in Atlanta on team friendly contracts is scary for the rest of the NL East, and NL in general. But, this postseason is showing already that it doesn't always matter how many you win in the regular season. Just get in the playoffs.

Braves were better without Ronald. See: 2021.

This ALDS game looks like so many Mariners games from this summer: Smoky haze. Great pitching. And Seattle’s offense wasting it:

    What's with the haze?
    Fires up there?

Yes. Unusually warm and dry for October, even in Western Washington.

Fires still burning in remote areas of the Cascades.

Yup. Total crapshoot that basically renders the regular season completely meaningless. Dodgers are 27 outs away from proving that yet again.

I don't like Bryce Harper or the Phillies but I like the Braves even less. Whatever randomization of dumb postseason chaos there exists, it's in line with what the Braves historically do, and it's pretty much on the mark for a team that spends eight days in first place. The Phillies were the superior team.

I didn’t think we’d ever see another 15-inning playoff game with a 0-0 score. We might see it twice in a week.

What the hell are you doing taking a fastball that much in the strike zone? It’s the 12th inning. Get defensive and see another pitch. Don’t sit there scratching yourself. That one out single can’t move you into scoring position while sitting on the bench.

Phillies spent one day in first place. ONE!
