Whatever was bugging Hader earlier is ... uh ... gone.

Speaking as someone whose favorite team had Brad Hand make an All-Star game as its closer…I wouldn’t trust Brad Hand to close my front door, let alone pitch in a playoff game.

He was very solid before getting hurt. 146 ERA+ for the season.

Oh, I have no statistical backing for my contention. I just wouldn’t ever trust that guy in an important moment. His mechanics are whack.

It's a shame the Guardians didn't win. Could have had a Hand-Karinchak World Series with everything all fucked up.

Bader’s mouthpiece looks like a retainer.

Except it does make sense and you clearly don't understand the small market mentality that drives some of these teams.

Except Bieber is the one who could be traded this offseason.

I don't think you are right about the first part. Some franchises can never bring in enough revenue that they wouldn't lose money with a $200 million payroll, at least not any time soon.

You are absolutely right about the salary floor. That is absolutely what baseball needs. Put that in with the current luxury tax and things aren't perfect, but they are a hell of a lot better than they used to be. I agree that it won't happen.

He has been his usual dominant self since early September. People just didn't really notice until the playoffs.
