Apparently he and his family live in Jupiter.

You realize to a Floridian, two hours north of Miami (depending on direction and traffic) could be anywhere from Hallandale Beach to Belle Glade.

Don’t look now but Gerritt Cole is out and the Astros lead 5-0 in the sixth

I dislike the Astros. But man, they are a million times better than the Yankees. Was hoping for a competitive series, for my own entertainment. Not so much.

Lot of money to pay for a guy who can’t finish six innings in a must-win game. Particularly for a franchise that says only World Series titles matter.

there was zero reason to think the Yankees had much of a chance to win the series. Half their lineup is dead weight.

i would have liked to see them in this series with Benetendi, Lamatheiu and a Carpenter that had a few weeks to get at bats instead of returning off the do in the playoffs, but maybe then they just lose in six

I mean a dropped fly ball that would have gotten him out of the second turned into two runs and then the Yankees have looked hopeless on offense

Definitely. Didn't expect them to win, just wanted to see a long series. The two rainouts and odd scheduling of the ALDS, then no off day, didn't help, either.

One hit through seven innings but let’s blame Cole for not living up to the hype.

This is not a good take.
