    Jake Rogers is coming off Tommy John surgery and is a backup catcher at best
    The Tigers were asking for Kyle Tucker before moving on to Daz and turning down Derek Fisher
    The pitcher Houston wouldn’t give up was Forrest Whitley, who at 25 is coming off Tommy John surgery and a drug suspension, and who has yet to reach the majors
