Mike Trout is the greatest baseball player of all-time and it’s not particularly close. Now, would he be without that medical exemption, thyroid thing, HGH, etc…. Now, that’s another story that’s too taboo to report on…

Has it been a couple of years since MLB moved the draft back to July? Shoot, I remember players getting drafted when they were playing in Omaha in June. Putting it back to July makes it unlikely they'll even sign before a minors season is over. No wonder MLB got rid of the Rookie League for the most part. It was kind of cool though seeing some top picks make a few starts out here in the Northwest League. Also probably helpful in shutting down pitchers for the year after playing a college or HS season.

Wow, so I'm still trying to figure out where's she's coming from on this. I'll admit the Angels broadcasters sometimes lay it on a little thick with the Ohtani praise, but no better or worse than most teams' announcers when talking about their own players. What is she suggesting, that O'Neal and Gubicza spend most of their time talking about Aaron Judge or Freddie Freeman?

I hadn't seen/heard this before. That's some awesome entrance music.

    It’s Michelle Tafoya.

She wants them to talk about a white guy.

Yep. If his name was Sean O’Tanny born in Boston, she wouldn't care that he’s the focus of attention.

If his name was Sean O’Tanny from Boston and he played in the Midwest or East Coast he’d be bigger than Babe Ruth.

Trout should be a bigger star but he has two factors weighing against him: location and that he has the personality of a dishrag.

Good thing she isn't watching Jays games and the endless talk about Vlad Jr.

“You know who we’re not talking about enough? Tom Kite and the tidy six-under tournament he just turned in.”
