Almost at the 50-game mark. Always interesting to see who's doing what a third of a way through the season.

    Guardians is still lol silly.

Braves were 24-26 after 50 last year.

Who are the breakthrough teams? Anyone gonna knock someone out of one of those AL playoff spots? I doubt Texas will catch anyone. Red Sox have a top five run differential in the AL; they could catch someone. Maybe Toronto?

I suppose its San Fran, Atlanta, and Philly for the last NL spot. Does Miami learn how to hit?

As crappy as the Tigers have been I’m amazed the Royals are worse

The Red Sox positive run differential is solely the result of their series with the White Sox last week in which they won two of the three games 16-1 and 16-2. They lost the other one 2-1.

And in 2019 the Nationals were 19-31 after 50 games. Maybe underachieving for the first third of the season will become the hot new analytics trend.

Joey Wentz, after four scoreless innings, one hit and four Ks, becomes the latest Tigers pitcher to leave with an apparent arm injury
