(EDIT: Apparently they've already agreed to this.)

I think that's the most logical solution.

That's the nicest spring training facility in Florida as far as luxury suites, concessions and infrastructure. It's across from the Buccaneers stadium, so you've got ample parking nearby and the ability to add bleacher seating if necessary. I don't know if you could add any additional seating to the current structure. And how many times did the Rays really draw more than 11,000 fans in the Dome?

The only thing would be major league quality lighting but that seems easily fixed. (Already on the upgrade list, along with expanded locker rooms and facilities.)

Much better option than Clearwater or Dunedin, to be honest, only because of location and parking.

And it's where the Rays should be thinking about putting their permanent facility instead of compounding their mistake by staying in St. Pete.

Rays drew 12,000 or more in 73 games last year, and three more were between 11,000-12,000.

It’ll be interesting to see if there’s a sudden demand for tickets for that location.

It’s a great yard and major-league quality in just about every way. Definitely the right choice.

If it's from Topkin on the Rays, take it as gospel.

It makes sense but I don't have a clue in the world why the Yankees would do it.

Suter (Cubs, Cards) and Quisenberry (Royals) were exceptional for a number of years.
He's not bad. I prefer Rick Rizzs but he's definitely No. 2 as far as M's announcers go.

Skenes will probably win NL ROY, but pulling for Merrill to snare an upset.

Agree regarding Dave Sims. The real dead wait on Mariners broadcasts is Mike Blowers, who offers nothing other than comments on what the previous pitch was.
