The Dodgers used Knack, but they might need Knick and Paddywhack to nail it down tonight.

If Law & Order is accurate, prosecutors in New York are like prosecutors in many states: They're elected. Nobody who wants another term is going to charge those cretins with anything.

"My Sharona" was released 18 years before Landon Knack was born.

If the Yankees come all the way back, the suspects won't have to buy a drink in the Bronx for the rest of their lives.

Big night for Saint Anthony of Hackensack. He's not a bad player. Just not in the same ballpark with Bobby Witt and Gunnar Henderson. No matter what ESPN says.

I’ll pull for the Yanks in Game 5, just because I’d like a few more days of baseball.

Seasons come and go, but for whatever reason (mostly the Mets being fun), I’ve been more plugged in this year than I have been in a few years.

I’ve been fully re-engaged since the first time I saw a game with the pitch clock in spring training last year. I don’t know if anyone outside of hard core baseball fans have noticed, but the gameflow and skills of today’s players is incredible. I’m totally okay with it becoming a niche sport if this is what the product is. Add a salary cap and I think the game would be fully fixed.

If only for Dodgers fans to be at a clinching World Series game after missing out in 2020

This is the eighth consecutive World Series with at least one team from the NL or AL West. Granted, most have been the Dodgers or Astros.

The last time a Central team was in the series was 2016, when there were two, the Cubs and Cleveland.

Every division has produced at least one champion since 2015.
