MLB '24 Postseason thread

    While I understand the logic why postseason baseball has so many travel days between series and venues, I really wish it could be compressed more to get the World Series in before Halloween.

    Yes, Seattle-Boston and San Francisco-Miami are impossible to play without a jet lag day, but Detroit-Cleveland will play two games with an off-day in between because of TV. And the Guardians haven't played since Sept. 28 because the season finale was rained out. Even New York-Kansas City is only one time zone difference in 2024.

    If I had a better solution, I'd offer it. I don't, or at least until MLB expands and splits into Eastern and Western conferences. But it shouldn't take a whole month to play a maximum of 22 games.
