The Guardians’ entire gameplan against Skubal is hope somebody bloops something and then Jhonkensy Noel or Jose Ramirez run into a fastball. I don’t think there’s any other way to get multiple runs off him.

 

I like to think I've gotten more understanding of the nuances of addiction and how people who battle alcohol and drug issues deserve compassion more than scorn. But this absolute piece of shit should never spent another day in free society. (This refers to Matt Bush not anyone at TBS who screwed up the opening pitches of Guardians-Tigers)

 

For me the game froze on TBS, but the TruTV feed works.

Every time there’s a 4 p.m. start and impossible shadows I think of the battle Mike Mussina and Charles Nagy waged in 1997 where the hitters were swinging at air.

 

These guys are both dealing. Boyd has leaked a little oil but has got the clutch outs he needs.
