Took seven years but the Yankees finally overcame the abject incompetence of Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman!

I don’t have a dog in the fight whatsoever, but I think a Subway Series would be sweet.

 

MLB is actively rooting against this because nobody outside the boroughs will watch.

 

Those plucky Yankees are inspirational. So limited with that $300,000,000 payroll.

 

Only three teams left all have $300 million payrolls. Adam Smith still rules baseball, for better or worse.

 

At least the Yankees and dodgers are getting their money’s worth from their stars. The Mets second and third highest paid players this season are verlander and scherzer

 

I find that ludicrous.
It’s the World Series. People will watch.
