    Welcome to a new season.

Dodgers and Padres playing in Seoul. Watching on ESPN on the laptop.

Darvish opened the season with a pitch clock violation walk to Betts but got Ohtani on a fielder's choice (beat it out to avoid a 6-4-3), Freeman (strikeout looking), and Will Smith (F7).

Glasnow just retired the Padres 1-2-3.

And here we go into a new season.

I don't know who's screaming over the PA, but that person needs to quaff a tall frosty mug of STFU.

Mike Shildt looks like a live-version of Hank Hill's cousin

You should get an RBI if a run scores on your double play.

Routine grounder busted through Cronenworth's glove, run scored.

Dodgers must have thought they were still in the postseason, 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position until they used an error to stack some runs in the eighth.

I didn't have Jake Cronenworth's glove on my bingo card as the Game 1 MVP.

They have clubhouse guys who can tighten that up for you, bud.

That would make the stat even more useless.

No, it wouldn't. Batter hit the ball, runner scored, RBI.

How funny that that it's an RBI if the batter beats it out at first for a force only.

It's a facacta rule. Batter did his job, to plate a run, which is the name of the game.
