After signing Grimace to a three-year, $150 million contract, the Mets traded him to Houston for three prospects and ate 90 percent of his salary.

 

All three prospects fell into a hole upon exiting Houston and have not been seen since.

 

Angel Hernandez called that pitch a strike.

 

Way better than 50 Cent. Could be the next Bartolo Colon.

 

Also the trade paperwork arrived in Queens with postage due.

 

So that’s what happened to the Fry Guys.

 

Mets starters are averaging 5 1/3 innings per start. You can't tell me 51-year-old Bartolo couldn't do more than that.

Alas, for the first time in the Internet era, the Mets aren't run by someone who would scour message boards for trade advice.

 

I’m still not convinced that at some point “Steve Cohen” will pull off his mask, Scooby Doo-style, to reveal it’s been Jeff Wilpon all along.
