Wonder how many celebratory beverages Beer Bong Brett will consume tonight.

Bluejays wore their Canada Day reds today.

I saw Vladdy Sr. in Double-A as well. Swear he made it from home to first in three strides.

When Terrance Gore was with the Royals, that was the fastest base to base speed I’ve ever seen.

Speaking of gazelles, holy shit, you've got to see Wood force a two-base error on Mets pitcher Jake Diekman. Nats can't score though b/c they're still the Nats for now.

He's impressive. He's 6-7 and can run like that. O'Neil Cruz is comparable, but his single-season high for steals so far is 10 in 2022.
The record for steals in a season by a player ≥ 6-7 is 16 by Aaron Judge in 2022.
I'm going to guess that Wood smashes that record.

Tells you how quickly I've gotten used to enormous human beings play shortstop: My first thought was "Oh, Wood DOESN'T play short?"

His dad is the great Richmond basketball player Kenny Wood, of the 1988 Sweet 16 team that beat Indiana and Georgia Tech.
