I completely forgot that Helton got in the Hall.
I shall now dip my toe in the Great Lake Of Fail.

Went back and looked ... the O's were 49-25 after the 17-6 evisceration of the Yankees on June 20. They're 25-29 since then. Using that game as a checkpoint since they immediately five straight after that one. Baltimore has played sub-par baseball for two full months now.

Sounds like Scott Servais is out as Mariners coach, per Ken Rosenthal.

Who knows what goes on behind closed doors, but he’s not the one striking out 14 times a game. Or who whiffed on a whole offseason of free agent signings and trades.

I don't mean to alarm OriolesSJ.com, but after observing their team the last three days, I feel compelled to say that bullpen is fucking horrendous. It's a bunch of firemen toting hoses filled with gasoline. Mercy.

We're well aware. No lead feels safe from the 7th on right now. We talk about the starter injuries, but losing Coloumbe was a huge blow. And everyone is pitching outside of their ideal role because of the closer situation. We're starting to get to the point of the year where every game feels big, but tonight's against Houston feels REALLY big. Burnes coming off a rare awful outing, at home, with a gassed bullpen, facing Arrighetti who is 5-11 with a 5.20 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. This HAS to be a get right spot tonight for the offense, and Burnes needs to go deep and let that bullpen recover a bit.

I've got Tigers-Cubs on one screen and Brewers-Cardinals on another.
A lot of empty seats ... especially at Busch. A lot.
